In Loving Memory ~
Passed away on April 11, 2024 at Hardy View Lodge, in Grand Forks, B.C. at the age of 80.
She is predeceased by her husband Louis Spavor, Jean Bandemer (sister), David Bonthron (brother), Ellen Bonthron (mother) & Chester Bonthron (father).
She is survived by her son Patrick Spavor (Jill), daughter Shelley Carvalho (Mario), son Mark Spavor (Miguelina), and daughter Jeanne Campbell (Woody).
Grandchildren Amy Morison (Ryan), Bill Campbell (Jenna), Zack Spavor (Sierra), Emily Spavor (Andrew), Amanda Carvalho (Luis) & Christopher Carvalho. Great-Grandchildren Declan, Jensen, Thomas, Mackenzie & Miles.
Anita was born in September 1943 and raised in Grand Forks, B.C. Anita married Louis in May of 1963, then settled in Midway B.C. where they raised their 4 children and became lifetime residents.
Anita's greatest joy was her family & she enjoyed being a Nana & Great Grandma.
Her wishes were for no funeral. Cremation has taken place, thank you to Grand Forks Funeral Home.
Donations can be made in her memory to the Arthritis Society, Diabetes Canada or Canadian Cancer Research.
