In loving memory ~
Amber, born and raised in Campbell River, passed away peacefully at home with her loving dog Rykah and family by her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving daughter to Marit (Jack) & Ross (Tam), sister to Chase ( Stevi) and Hunter (Shayleen), Auntie to Cole, Frankie, Brody, Max, Charlie, and Everleigh, a niece to Ellen (Daniel), Kim (Mike), Jody, Scott, a Granddaughter to Pete & Shirley Griffiths and predeceased by her grandparents, Eivind & Tutten Vetvik.
Amber had the purest heart of gold. She made an incredible impact on countless children and families from the Forest Circle Daycare where she worked for many years. "Amby" had a very special place in her heart for all her little humans.
She will be remembered for her contagious energy, adventurous soul, spicy personality and radiant smile. The loyalty and love she had for her friends and family will hold strong in all our hearts.
The family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Maloff and the amazing women at cancer care and the incredible support from Dr. Morrison and the island health crew. As Amber would say.... you Rock!!
