It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our son Allen, also known to many as “Chris”
Beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, boyfriend and best friend to Taylor and friend to many; Allen passed away July 4, 2023, in Surrey, BC. Allen was born in Trail BC on Jul 7, 1983.
He decided to do things his way and entered this world 5 weeks early and that is how he lived life, his way.
Allen had a heart of gold. Supporting many of his comrades who also shared his challenges. We take comfort in knowing he is now surrounded by his beloved Grandparents and he is making funny faces to his nephew Theo who he is holding in his arms.
Chuck (Dad) and Linda (Mom) are so very grateful for the loving care and support he received over the last dozen years from his counsellor and care giver Jason. Thank you, Jason, for helping him through his ups and downs.
He leaves behind his Dad (Chuck Symons), Mom (Linda Symons) Sister (Tina Spenst, nee Symons) and her family, Lisa (wife) and children, Jadeyn, Xander and Brooklyn and Uncle Mike and his best friend Taylor. Also included many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends. He will be missed by so many.
We will be having a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 26th, from noon to 5:00 pm at Linda and Chucks home 9429 McNaught Road, Chilliwack BC. lsymons@shaw.ca
