Alice Pallard passed away peacefully at Durand Manor on October 27, 2022, at the age of 100 years.
Alice was a lifetime resident of Golden. She enjoyed travelling, skiing, her cats, growing flowers in and around the house and quite particular and fussy about caring for them. Alice was employed by the government of BC for many years and when she retired, she stayed on as a marriage commissioner, which she enjoyed so much. She preformed hundreds of weddings in all kinds of situations and adventures.
Alice was predeceased by her parents, Ernst and Elise Feuz, husband Ray Oakes, brothers Ernest and Fred and second husband Joe Pallard.
Alice is survived by her sister-in-law Sheila, nephews Reg, Eddie and Terry (Lisa), nieces Darlene, Debbie (Rob), Dawne (George), Julie and Vicki (Devon).
There will be plans for a celebration of life tea for Alice in the Spring.
