In Loving Memory ~

We are heartbroken to announce the death of Alfred Terrence (Terry) Buckoll February 18, 1943 - February 11, 2024.

A loving husband, amazing Dad and a valued brother and son.

Terry was born in Vancouver and is survived by his wife, Dot, daughters Erin (Dan), Teresa (Stan), mother (Lorraine), brothers Kenny (Denise), Ralph, sisters Carole (Gary), Alice and Marie. Loved by Lindsay, Rob (Monica) and known as Gramps to Ryan, Jade and Carter.

Terry worked for Woodfibre and was present for the explosion in 1963. He was employed with B.C. Hydro for over 33 years as a Steam Engineer and worked in Vancouver, Burrard Thermal and retired from Fort Nelson.

Terry and Dot led a very active lifestyle and had numerous epic adventures with their camper visiting every corner of B.C., NWT, Alaska, Yukon and the Western United States. Their adventures made them one of the first vehicles to ever travel to Tuktoyaktuk by road.

Terry and Dot retired to their home in Lac La Hache in 2007. He had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid hiker, skier with the Nordics and fished all summer long. He would regularly be seen on the street walking many different dogs over the years and loved to stop and chat to anyone he met.

He has been an active member of the 100 Mile House Power Pioneers for many years and has volunteered countless hours to the Community that he loved.

Terry will be dearly missed by all.

Please join us to celebrate his amazing life on February 18th from 1pm to 3pm at the Lac La Hache Community Hall located at 3997 Hwy 97.
