In Loving Memory ~
Dearly missed husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Alex overcame a difficult childhood in Austria to make a new, good life in Canada. He had an adventurous spirit and was always up for new experiences. Alex loved hiking and fishing and enjoyed time spent with family and good friends. He was a generous host who loved celebrations with good food and laughter.
Alex had 2 children with his first wife, Trudy: Linda (Peter Bailey) and Eric (passed).
He is survived by 3 granddaughters, Kyra and Emily Bailey and Casie Salikin (Brad) and one-great-grandson, Blake Salikin.
Alex is deeply missed by his wife and loving partner of 39 years, Ellen Sangster. Alex helped to raise Deirdre Sangster (Dayun Miles) and enjoyed two more bonus grandchildren, Quinn and Lilah Miles.

A celebration of Alex's life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 1-3pm at Chilliwack Golf Course, Mount Cheam Room, 41894 Yale Road, Chilliwack.
