It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adriana Visona on September 17, 2023 in Port Alberni, British Columbia.
She was born in Italy on September 30, 1936. Adriana passed peacefully with her loving husband, Isacco Visona by her side.
Adriana and Isacco had known each other from Italy since they were fifteen years old. They were married on New Years Eve 1957 in Port Alberni, B.C. where they made their forever home.
They were an integral part of the Italian Community of Port Alberni and Adriana welcomed and helped several Italian immigrants that made their way to Port Alberni from their home town. Adriana was a devoted wife and mother, she demonstrated a willful spirit to living life in spite of any challenges that came her way. Her will and determination gave her great strength and courage to live her life to the fullest.
Adriana is predeceased by her siblings Armido Franco, Virginia Franco, Antonio Franco and son-in-law Van De Goey.
Adriana is survived by her husband Isacco, her daughter Loretta (Lauren), her son Bruno (Barb, Sasha and Sam).
