Thief stops for snacks in Central Saanich break and enter

Suspect hits the booze cabinet and pantry before making off with laptop, jewelry

An open back door alerted a resident that things weren’t right when she arrived home around 4:30 p.m. yesterday, Feb. 6. The resident came home to the 6900 block of Central Saanich Road and discovered the back sliding glass door open.

It appears someone came in through an upper bedroom window and rummaged through several bedrooms. The thief then stopped for some food and liquor before leaving through the back door with a laptop and jewelry.
