Snowmobile, ATV stolen from Lumby business

Police are searching for the two vehicles stolen Nov. 25, as well as the two trailers they were loaded on

Police are seeking the public’s help as they look to recover a snowmobile, ATV and two trailers that were stolen from a Lumby business.

The theft took place Saturday, Nov. 25, at a business on Dyffryn Road in Lumby. Police say a man driving a white pickup truck entered a locked compound at the business around 7:30 a.m. and hooked up and drove off with the two trailers, one of which was loaded with the snowmobile and the other loaded with the ATV.

The snowmobile is a black 2021 Ski-Doo Summit 850 X Expert with a B.C. license plate of 8C8904. The ATV is a black 2020 CanAm Outlander Max 650 with a B.C. license plate of 3D8823. One trailer is a black 2019 Marlon utility trailer and the other a black 2002 U-built trailer.

The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP released photos of the stolen items and the suspect vehicle towing the trailers with the hope that someone will recognize them.

Anyone who has information about the suspect vehicle or the stolen property is asked to contact Const. Art Forsyth at 250-547-2151 and quote file 2023-7474.
