A man is scheduled for a court date related to a recent theft at a Salmon Arm business.
On Tuesday, May 5, Salmon Arm RCMP received a report from an employee at a 4th Avenue SW business regarding a man who had allegedly broken into a fenced area of the store and stole two tents worth $400 in total.
Const. Andrew Hodges said police were able to identify the suspect through video surveillance footage, and a man was arrested the next day and later released with a future court date.
“Salmon Arm RCMP will be forwarding charges to BC Prosecution,” said Hodges.
