All adult indoor group fitness classes from Ladysmith PRC have been postponed until at least April 19, 2021.

In accordance with new public health orders restricting indoor fitness classes, the Town of Ladysmith Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture is suspending all indoor adult group fitness classes, including aquatic fitness.

The programs, which are held at Frank Jameson Community Centre, will remain suspended until April 19, 2021.

“Staff are reviewing the orders and seeking clarification from Island Health and the BC Parks and Recreation Association to ensure our program offerings and COVID-19 Safety Plan are up-to-date,” the Town said in a press release.

Anyone enrolled in a group fitness class for April will be contacted regarding the cancellation or potential rescheduling of the class.

The Fitness Centre and pool both remain open at this time for registered drop-in visits only.
