Travellers from the Lower Mainland heading east for the long weekend should be prepared for lengthy waits.

As of noon, Friday, June 30, Princeton town hall is receiving calls from drivers who have been stopped for up to 90 minutes on Highway 3, at the western border of the municipality.

Construction near Bromley Place is bottle-necking traffic, according to reports.
