Rick Ellithorp and Ruth Gibbard inspect and identify the many plants and veggies that are still thriving in the Eagle Valley Community Support Society’s learning garden that provides produce for their programs, as well as the food bank. The garden is just one of many new features the society invited the public to check out at an open house last Wednesday,where they also revealed renovated washrooms, a natural play area in the backyard, new program space and a teaching kitchen.
