Tiger went missing after a single vehicle roll-over in Sorrento Friday evening.

In the wake of a car crash Friday, Rachel Richter’s boyfriend was taken to hospital, but the family is also now missing their much-loved cat, Tiger, who could not be found at the accident scene.

On Friday, Nov. 21, Richter’s boyfriend lost control of his Toyota Tacoma truck and it rolled off the road near Linberg Road in Sorrento. In the car with him was Tiger, a grey tabby.

“After the truck was rolled and my boyfriend taken to hospital, our cat was no where to be found,” said Richter.

“The truck is totaled and was taken to the impound and the employees at the impound lot assured us that there was no cat in the damaged truck.”

Richter is hoping that at the scene of the accident, there were people that may have information where Tiger might be.

“We can only hope that Tiger found a warm home close by. He is a declawed, indoor cat so for him to survive in the wild would unfortunately not be possible. He is the most friendliest, social cat you’ll ever meet,” she says.

They are hoping someone may find the cat and return him to them.

Richter can be contacted at  587-435-7224.
