Volunteers raised over $2,700 this past weekend as part of a fundraising effort to provide relief for Nepal, which was hit by a massive earthquake in April. The Bake for the Quake sale, hosted by the Bumble Tree on Saturday, saw lots of foot traffic as people came out to buy some treats and support the cause. Tricia McLeod, who is spearheading the Nepal fundraising campaign, is still collecting donations that she will send directly to people in need in Nepal. To donate to the Nepal campaign, contact McLeod at  250-417-7655 or email at triciamcleod@shaw.ca.
