Houston Link to Learning staff set up a mouthwatering BBQ displaying salad, tomatoes, lettuce and a variety of fruits to be paired with a BBQ hamburger or hot dog. The BBQ was held on April 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. which went hand in hand with attendees being able to register for a garden plot at the Houston Community Garden. There are 25 plots available and 13 of them were registered for by new gardeners. Everything will be planted by June 12 for the season and registration is still being accepted by contacting Houston Link to Learning. (Angelique Houlihan photo/Houston Today)
