Thieves smash glass to access South Surrey's Lululemon store

Vehicle used to break into Morgan Crossing store, say police

South Surrey's Lululemon store was broken into early Thursday morning that resulted in smashed windows, a broken door and stolen merchandise.

Surrey RCMP shared that police responded to a break-and-enter in progress at the Morgan Crossing shop at about 5 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 1).

"A vehicle was used to gain entry to a business," Cpl. Sarbjit Sangha shared in an email to Peace Arch News.

The investigation for the break-and-enter is in the preliminary stages, Sangha said, adding no details would be provided yet on what merchandise was taken.

Lululemon is closed Thursday morning, a sign outside the store indicates.

Smashed windows, a broken door and twisted front bollards could be seen in the aftermath of the crime.
