There are events ranging from dog walks to picnics going on every day in Kelowna from June 1-9

Pride week in Kelowna begins on Saturday, June 1, and is chocked full of a diverse array of things to do for all people and pups.

The week of rainbows, activities and events will run from June 1-9 and will include a variety of events in public spaces across Kelowna.

From rock climbing, yoga, a ‘Big Gay Dog Walk’, brunch, lip synch battles, cookie decorating, and a Pride bike rally, Kelowna’s Pride community has organized events to suit everyone’s interests and abilities.

Thursday May 31 – Pride on the Rocks ( Eain Lamont Park, West Kelowna at 5 p.m.)

Saturday June 1 – Pride Yoga (Red Bird Brewing, 10:30 a.m.)

Saturday June 1 – Drag Storytime (Kelowna Art Gallery at 12:30 p.m.)

Saturday June 1 – Sing for the Ring lip synch battle ( Revelry at 7 p.m.)

Sunday, June 2 – Pride Drag Brunch (Delta Grand at 11 a.m.)

Sunday, June 2 – Pride Bike Rally (Rotary Center for the Arts to Vice & Virtue at 1p.m.)

Sunday, June 2 – Drag Bingo (Red Bird Brewing at 6p.m.)

Monday June 3 – Pride Week Kickoff (BNA Brewing at 5 p.m.)

Monday June 3 – Magazine Fair (Laurel Packinghouse at 6 p.m.)

Tuesday, June 4 – Big Gay Dog Walk (City Park at 7 p.m.)

Friday June 7, Kelowna’s Next Drag Superstar Finale (Red Bird Brewing at 7 p.m.)
