Lovingly Remembered ~
Our sweet Mother, Doreen, passed away April 6th, 2024.
Born December 3rd, 1930 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, Doreen emigrated to Canada with her mother and sister after the war. Mom met our beloved father, Ron, in Penticton, where he was stationed with the RCMP. They were married in 1955 and one month later moved to Kitimat to begin their new life together, where Mom continued to reside until her passing.
Doreen was predeceased by Ron in 2000 and sister Sonja in 2020.
Mom is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by daughters Lisa (Lewis), Kathryn, Janice and son Jeff. Grandchildren Derek (Melanie), Rachel (James), Samantha, Blair, Briar and Bradie. Great grandchildren Zoe, Ryleigh, Annabelle, Jordyn, Liam and Camryn. Sister Roxanne and many nieces and nephews.
The love remains, unchanging in
the care of sorrowing hearts.
For as the love of life is stilled,
the love of memory remains.
